The sky re-open its doors

22 Apr 2010

It took 5 days to see the Irish and London traffic re-open , and return to normal.

The waiting was long, but better keep that running, as they say, eh!

We should finally take off Saturday. The cat is again confirmed for this flight, and everything seems set for Saturday, I say seems, because since last week we don’t know what may happen again.

Well, let’s not be pessimistic, and leave. The journey begins …….. in 2 days.

Departure delayed

16 Apr 2010

I think we will remember our immigration.

Due to the cloud of ashes which overlooks the whole of Europe, and particularly the United Kingdom and Ireland, we can not leave today as planned. So, we contacted our airline  after a long wait over the phone, and have been registered on Monday 19 flight, ie within 3 days.

So, see you in 3 days for more news.

Last day on the old continent or almost

15 Apr 2010

Today should be our last unless a volcano of Iceland has seen it in a different light.

After undergoing the strikes of the SNCF in France we are experiencing the moods of the volcano!

All flights from Northern Europe are canceled until further notice, and we are not sure if we’ll be able to flight tomorrow morning to London and then Montreal.

A little more stress, but we cannot do anything but wait, scanning the airports websites and contemplating our suitcases that are ready to go!
