      Coloured fall

      4 Oct 2010

What a great season! Tree leaves turn yellow and fall to form a colorful carpet and replace the concrete … In every street of Montreal landscape is different because all the trees do not change color in the same way, so it is interesting to see directly into a forest.

Since it rained a lot these days, a walk in the forest is not ideal because the roads are muddy. So we went to Mont-Royal (Montreal) to admire that. The arrival at Beaver Lake is not the most impressive to my taste because all the trees are not red or orange, but it seems that this is another place (see section of Mount Royal in the summer). The view on the lookout Montreal is always amazing! The most interesting is the way that we can go down to the city side of the park avenue. We’re really in the forest, and at the turning of a path we have another view of the city and much stronger than Red Lake.

I let you see in pictures …

      Habs pre-season game

      27 Sep 2010

The season has not started yet we are again at the Bell Centre to watch the Habs games! Marek has a game ahead of me!

Tonight, the Hbas faced the Florida Panthers! But what a game! I’ll not make comments because they are specialt sites for, but, to retain a third period full of emotion with a rain of the Canadian goals, fights and even last-minute goals.

The CH is really part of the culture in Montreal, and this is really beautiful to see and to be part of it!

      To note :

      Youpi, the mascot :

The launcher T-Shirt (must be in the bottom section) :

The Zamboni transformed into a power outlet :

The arrival of Jean Beliveau for the trophy that bears his name to Maxim Lapierre :

      Habs vs Panthers-27

      GO HABS GO!

      A day in Mont Tremblant

      12 Sep 2010

With this great weather in September, it would be a shame to miss a beautiful ride to Mount Trembant, a station at 1:30 from Montreal.

We were surprised by the architecture of the station that we made some little thought to Disneyland … Let me explain. The buildings seem new, vivid colors and a particular style (in pictures is easier). Down the station we can take a gondola to get to the slopes in winter or summer hiking path. Thus we can see inside their hotel with some great swimming pool… not bad! The station looked very lively and rich enough. Many shops, restaurants, bars … a very cozy place to spend the weekend by cons in winter I think it should be well filled.

Before returning to Montreal, we took the opportunity to tour the lake by car, a haven of tranquility …
