Since we landed we didn’t have the occasion to go to the Mont-Royal. Arrived to the beaver,s lake we didn’t realized we were still in the middle of Montreal!! It’s very different from the winter version were we skated.
This place is really relaxing. Perfect for a pic-nic or a bbq.
Lying on the grass we met the squirrel who felt in love with the cookies !!
A little further from the Belvedere is a terrace where you can see Montreal from above! Really cool!
A beautiful journey in Montreal!
Here it is, I did too my first steps on the ice in Canada! A child’s dream! We went to 4 Glaces in Pierrefonds on the west side of Montreal, where a group of girls is training during the summer. The complex is really good, it has, as its name indicates, 4 ices accessible from the bar.
Despite the training for the half marathon, it took some time to regain my normal routine, and I will need surely few sessions!
The level is good for the C, and it motivated me to continue to play here.
When we went to Quebec, the restaurant name make us smile by their wording, and, this morning, I had another favorite for a new restaurant name in Montreal. There were an article on LCN in june (here) annoucing the opening soon of “ Chez ma grosse truie chérie“, translated “My big baby pig”. What a cute nickname, isn’t it? I’ve imagined already the eventual conversation: “Hey, we go to eat my big baby pig?”. Anyway, the concept works as everyone is talking about it ! Good advertisement !
Now we have to try!
